What’s The Acura Prototype Rolling On The Streets?
Part of being a car lover is always keeping track of what’s next, and a great example of this is a hot new Acura prototype seen on the roads earlier this year. As of right now, it’s not clear exactly what the prototype is supposed to be, but observers are reporting fender flares that are provoking a number of questions about what exactly this is going to be.
While seeing a mystery car is always going to be something exciting, this isn’t the only Acura prototype that is turning heads lately. One such example is the 2019 Acura RDX Prototype, which made its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
“The all-new RDX delivers a powerful statement about who we are and where we are headed as a brand,” said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura. “For our customers, the new RDX is a quantum leap forward in design, style, and performance, with luxury features and technology that will elevate their ownership experience.” Notable features here include the return of Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), and an interface that promises to combine the features we love from touchscreens with remote capability as well. There will also be a redesigned interior and new 3D grille.
